Description of Service

Familiar is a tarot MCP server that provides card draws, spread layouts, card metadata, and AI-assisted interpretation tools for compatible AI clients such as Claude.

Familiar is designed for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal exploration purposes only. Tarot readings and AI interpretations are not professional advice — medical, financial, legal, or otherwise. You should not make important life decisions based solely on readings from this service.

Access

Some clients, deployments, or hosted features may require authentication or configuration. You are responsible for keeping any credentials, tokens, or connected accounts secure.

Paid Features

Certain hosted features, decks, or integrations may be offered as paid features. Any payment terms will be presented before purchase and are subject to the payment provider's terms.

AI Features

AI interpretations may be generated by third-party language models or AI clients using tool results returned by Familiar. Responses are non-deterministic and may vary. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with the service infrastructure

Intellectual Property

All content in Familiar — including card artwork, UI design, text, and code — is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Familiar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Familiar at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the service at any time.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
